In School NCETM ‘CPD Standard’ Teacher Training

We will come to your school and run a training session for up to 20 teachers and, what’s more, the teachers taking part do NOT have to be from your school so you can not only have your own maths teachers trained, you can have teachers from your partner schools coming along too! We will take you right through the Challenge software, ‘hands on’, and show you how it can be used to help you teach maths to what are often regarded as the disaffected and unengaged, as well as your more able, students. Many schools use the Challenge as the stimulus for transition years work and plenty of them use it within STEM Clubs as well – particularly those who are trying to get their students through the CREST Bronze Award scheme.

This session can be run either a full day or an afternoon/twilight – it’s entirely up to you. If you would like some further information as to cost and availability, please write to us at [email protected].

General Teacher Training Days

These courses are held at various host schools around the UK from time to time. We have completed our schedule for the 2012/13 Challenge and there are no further ‘general’ courses planned for the time being.
